Turn on two-factor sign-in

Protect your balance with a code from an authenticator app at every sign-in and payout. How to turn two-factor sign-in on or off.

Updated · SkinPlata team

With two-factor sign-in on, you enter a 6-digit code from an authenticator app at every sign-in and to confirm payouts. Nobody can sign in or move your money with your password alone.

Turn it on

  1. Open Account in the dashboard.
  2. Under Two-factor sign-in, choose Set up two-factor.
  3. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy or a similar app. You can also type the key shown below it.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows and press Turn on.

Using it

  • Sign-in: after your password, enter the newest code from the app.
  • Payouts and email changes: confirm with a code instead of your password.

Code not accepted?

  • Use the newest code; each one lasts only about 30 seconds.
  • Make sure the time on your phone is set automatically. A clock that is off gives wrong codes.
  • After too many wrong codes, sign in again from the start.

Turn it off

Under Two-factor sign-in, enter a current code and press Turn off.
