SkinPlata
How it works

From trade link to balance

What happens when one of your customers pays with skins, and what you see at each step.

A payment is created

Your server calls POST /api/v1/payments with your order id (or you make a link in the dashboard). You get a checkout URL. Optional: a minimum or maximum amount, the game, the currency shown.

The customer picks items

On the checkout they paste their Steam trade link once. We load their tradable inventory with live prices; items we cannot accept are greyed out. They pick until the total fits.

One Steam trade offer

We send a single offer for exactly those items. The value is fixed at this moment. Status pending, webhook deposit.pending.

Accepted — trade protection

Steam can reverse traded items for a few days. While that window is open the payment is in_hold. You may release it early on your side (deposit.hold_approved) if you trust the customer.

Final — credited

When the window closes the payment is success: the amount is added to your project balance and deposit.success goes to your webhook.

Getting your money

Request a payout from the dashboard to a saved destination: crypto (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, LTC), SEPA, PayPal or Wise. Every payout is checked by our team and usually sent within one business day. Minimum $25.00.

Sending skins out

The same balance buys skins from the market: pick an item (or let us find the cheapest offer under your price), give us the customer's trade link, and we deliver it. If the trade fails, the money comes back to your balance.
