Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SkinPlata (the "Service"), operated by SKINPLATA Limited, Office 2841, House of Francis, Ile du Port, Mahe, Seychelles ("we", "us"). By opening an account or submitting a project you agree to them.

1. The Service

SkinPlata lets online projects ("Merchants") accept in-game items for Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and Rust ("Skins") as payment. Customers send Skins through a Steam trade offer; we credit the Merchant's project balance in US dollars, minus our fee. Merchants can also buy Skins with their balance and have them delivered to a Steam trade link, and withdraw their balance.

2. Accounts and projects

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
• Each website or application is a separate project. Every project is reviewed before it can take live payments; we may approve, reject or later suspend a project at our discretion, in particular where it breaks the Acceptable Use Policy.
• The information you give us (project name, website, turnover, country, contact handle) must be true and kept up to date.
• You are responsible for your credentials. API secrets are shown once; keep them secret and rotate them if they leak.

3. Payments in Skins

• The value of a payment is fixed when the trade offer is created and is based on current market prices.
• Steam may hold or reverse traded items for a period ("trade protection"). A payment is credited only once it is final. If a credited payment is reversed, its net amount is debited from your balance.
• Releasing a payment early (status hold_approved) only informs your system; it does not move money and the risk of crediting your customer early is yours.
• Fees are shown in the dashboard per project and on the pricing page. We may change fees with 14 days' notice; changes never apply to payments already created.

4. Skin purchases

When you buy a Skin we hold the maximum price you set and charge the actual price once the Skin is bought. If delivery fails before or after purchase, the amount returned by the market is credited back. We do not guarantee that a particular Skin is available at a particular price.

5. Balances and payouts

• Balances are kept in US dollars and are not deposits, e-money or interest-bearing accounts.
• Payouts are requested in the dashboard and reviewed by our staff before they are sent. We may ask for additional information, delay or refuse a payout where we suspect fraud, chargeback abuse, a breach of these terms, or where the law requires it.
• You are responsible for giving correct payout details. Payments sent to the details you provided are final.

6. Your obligations

You will follow the Acceptable Use Policy and all laws that apply to your project, including consumer-protection, age, tax and gambling rules. You will not use the Service to launder money, to receive stolen items, or from a restricted country.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close a project or account at any time for a breach of these terms, suspected fraud or a legal requirement. You may close your account at any time. Money that is not subject to a dispute, reversal window or legal hold is paid out to you after closure.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but rely on Steam and third-party market providers. We are not liable for outages of Steam or of third parties, or for changes Valve makes to trading.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
